When she won the All-Star MVP in 2019, there was not a dry eye in the house (just watch A'ja and Diamond crying in the background of the below clip). She was the first player to ever go from undrafted to All-Star MVP, and she dedicated the award to her late mother.

As an athlete that went undrafted, she created the Undrafted Round Table for others to discuss their experiences. She also created the The Wheeler Kid Foundation to give back to kids in her community.
