The Down Low
Unfortunately, one of the biggest narratives around Allisha is that she's often underappreciated. She had an absolutely breakout rookie season, but then cooled off a bit for the next couple years (once players realized that if they didn't guard her tight, they would regret it). But don't worry, the people that matter know her value:
I'm kind of immune to being overlooked. I'm overlooked by the outside, but my team and coaches know what I can do. I don't really care about what people think or say about me. My team knows my value. That's all that matters!
Add the Down Low to that list. Allisha is a dynamic scorer who will see you with them hands on defense (that means she gets a lot of steals, I just spend a lot of time thinking about Tatianna).
Off the court, Allisha is a video gamer, using the tag Graytness. She got into video games because it was what her brothers were doing, but then found that it was a great way to decompress and engage with fans.
She's active on Twitch, streaming games from Call of Duty to Jackbox. She's one of a number of WNBA gamers: Allisha joined up with fellow gamer Aerial Powers recently to compete in a 2K tournament.
Notable Quotables
My favorite WNBA player is myself because I’m in this league, too. I’m on this level.
