The Down Low
Arike is known as an offensive juggernaut, and an athlete who goes to another level when under pressure. You may know her as the all-time leading scorer for Notre Dame who put up a monster buzzer beater to win the 2018 national championship. She became a celebrity after that shot, landing on Dancing with the Stars (she finished in 8th and I personally blame the wardrobe designer).
Now in the WNBA, she is still pulling out game winners and putting up monster numbers, going over 50 straight games with more than 10 points scored. She's also still playing with college bestie Marina Mabrey, better known together as Marike.
The Dallas Wings made a huge investment in Arike ahead of the 2022 season, locking her in on a three-year supermax contract. Arike appears to be taking her position of face of the franchise seriously, speaking out against transphobic policies by the Texas AG.

Arike ~iconically~ hit a buzzer beater and then showed up to the post-game presser in her own merch.
You can buy this shirt and find her other merch here.
