Emily describes her type of play as "risky," saying that her game is about having both a basketball IQ and a willingness to take those risks, even if it means she occasionally doesn't turn out. My co-hosts describes it as being a "super role player" or a "glue girl," someone who is willing to do anything that is needed on the court, scoring, rebounding, feisty defense, she sometimes seems like she is everywhere at once for her team.
While Emily is tough on the court, she seems to charmingly be a bit of a softie, breaking into tears when talking about how her college coach and her family have supported her.
