The Basics
Position: Forward
Current Team: Atlanta Dream | #12
Draft: 2017 | Northwestern | 1st round (5th overall)
The Pet
Apparently, Nia is a proud dog mom, but this is the only photo I have for you, as her social media is set to private.
The Down Low
Nia had a breakthrough season in 2021, stepping up as defensive force on the shorthanded Sparks. Despite being undersized at 6'1 to play power forward, she is prepared to block anyone's shot if they come at the rim.
Fun fact: Nia's brother Amir playes for the LA Clippers, and they were the first siblings ever to play in the same city in the WNBA and NBA. Amir has pup too.
Highlight Reel/Notable Quotables
Nia's catchphrase should be "Nah" at this point.
